- Corruption: Dishonesty found in Government. An example of corruption in Africa is found in Civil Servants in Uganda. They are poorly paid and forced to support corruption through their incomes. A way we can help stop this corruption is by helping ensure access to basic social services and resources. This will then allow the people to talk about the issues between them and their government.
- Civil War: Fighting within the country.an example of Civil War in Africa is the Libyan Civil War in 2011. Dictator Moammar Gadhafi was captured and killed by rebel militia and since then, countless others have been killed. A way we can help stop Civil War is by staying persistent in what we have been trying to do already. Since the start of the war, U.S. along with thirteen other countries signed a communique in September urging all parties in Civil War to refrain from violence. Since this communique was rejected, the best way to help is by staying persistent without being annoying.
- Cashless: Poverty and poor financial status. An example of poor financial status in Africa is Africa over all. Despite its natural resources Africa is the world's poorest continent. Climate and diseases have made crops and other important items scarce. A way we can help stop this poor financial status in Africa is by making donations, being a volunteer, and speaking out to make it know and allow this to receive the help they need.
- Coups: Government being overthrown. An example of coups in Africa take place in the West African nation. Soldiers in Mali overthrew the elected government, looted the presidential palace, arrested ministers and seized power. A way to help coups in Africa is by supporting them in the process of strengthening their military.
- Climate: Issues with the climate, including things such as drought or poor harvest. An example of climate issues in Africa is in Africa overall. Africa has a very heavy dependence on rainfall for the growth of their crops making issues such as poverty and disease more major. A way we can help Africa with their climate is to create energy sectors in which safeguard against catastrophic climate change as well as increase their crops and economy, and decrease their issues with diseases.
- College-less: places with a lack of educational opportunities. Uganda faces major challenges to build up its educational system. Since the schooling there can barely afford teachers, most of them find other jobs and quit their teaching jobs. Also, a lack of electricity does not help with education but worsens it. Since there is no access to computers, the students are not learning as much as a normal student from other places are learning. We could send donated computers to these countries so they can experience the ways of learning from technology like us.
- Clean Water-less: not a lot of access to water which causes disease. Ethiopia has a population of 82 million. Forty-two percent have an access to an improved water supply but only 11% have access to clean sanitation. In Afghanistan only 13% of the country have clean water readily available. In Cambodia 84% of the population does not have access to clean, safe water. The lack of water contributes to a high infant mortality rate (77/1,100 live births), health problems, and a lack of education. We could provide them we a water cleaner so they no longer have to suffer from having dirty water.
- Career-less: places with little to no job opportunities and there is high unemployment. The high unemployment is very high in Europe. In Florida, the governor laid off 15,000 government workers. We can stop this by creating more jobs and not spending as much money through the government.
- Child Labor: dangerous forms of work that young children are forced to do. In North Korea there have been numerous reports of child 're-education through labor', where youths are placed in labor camps as punishment for political offences. Although the country's secretive government has officially outlawed underage work, school children can be seen working in factories and fields. In Myanmar (Burma), where 40 percent of children never enroll in school, the Burmese army recruits youths as young as 12 years old. Those who don't serve as soldiers or military porters are often forced to labor on farms, run street markets or collect rubbish in the streets. Suicide is common among the worst treated. We could get rid of child labor by prioritising primary education, regulate global trade, get rid of poverty, strengthen unions, ban the worst forms of child labor, etc.
- Chronic Disease: a long-lasting condition that can be controlled but not cured. Some examples would be asthma, Addison’s disease, Epilepsy, Glaucoma, Crohn”s disease, etc. We can start having scientists research these diseases to find a possible cure.
